Annual Registration
Notice:
Annual Registration must be submitted no later than March 31 each year.
If the registration is filed after the deadline, a $25 late fee will be charged.
Failure to renew for an extended period can cause your company to be administratively terminated by the state, and additional fees may be required to restore it to active status.
Annual Registration Infromation
Each year, every business entity must submit an Annual Registration to keep its status active with the Georgia Department of State. This filing verifies or updates the company’s information on record with the Division of Corporations, ensuring that the state has the most accurate and current details about your business.
Filing is mandatory even if no updates are needed, and the registration does not include financial information.
Registrations submitted after the deadline are subject to a $25 late fee. Failure to file within 60 days after the due date may result in the business being administratively dissolved or revoked, and additional fees may apply to reinstate it. If your business is not currently active and requires reinstatement, extra state fees will apply. We will reach out if additional payment is necessary to move forward. Your Annual Registration cannot be filed until the reinstatement process is completed, and your entity returns to active status.
